Job Description:
Our Inside Sales Representative will aggressively prospect and develop accounts, generate sales quotes and handle customer inquiries.  Develop new customers and prospects through cold and warm calls while becoming technically knowledgeable about Oberon products and solutions.   This is an excellent entry to a sales career, with opportunity to advance with a growing company.

Attributes of successful Inside Sales Representative are:
-  4 year college degree in business, marketing or related major
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar sales role
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Positive, assertive person comfortable with building customer relationships
- Strong computer literacy
- Highly organized, motivated and able to maintain professionalism at all times
- Aptitude to familiarize yourself with industry knowledge and trends

Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Manage day to day customer sales requests and provide superb customer service to our customers and sales representative firms
- Email customer quotations, sales specials / promotions, etc and process orders
- Provide guidance to our customers on product requirements / applications
- Proactively make contact and build relationships with assigned customers and prospects while growing existing and new customer accounts
- Maintain a current customer / prospect database
- Follow up with leads from trade shows in which we participate
- Assist with trade show material preparation
- Gain a strong understanding of our industry, our products, market trends and technology
- Travel to local customers or company trade show events as needed

Technical Marketing Manager

Oberon is a 16-year-old, fast-growing, successful, profitable, product development and manufacturing company based in State College PA. The company’s product offering includes metal and plastic fabricated enclosures and mounting solutions for wireless and wired datacom equipment. Oberon is seeking motivated entry level or experienced sales and marketing personnel to identify prospective markets, identify product vertical opportunities, develop suitable marketing strategies and materials, grow the product sales and offerings, and provide marketing management, planning and administration. Depending on your level of experience, the position will develop as follows: support Inside Sales and Customer Service Representatives, while learning about the products and markets, develop digital marketing, then manage overall marketing initiatives.  

Inside Sales/Customer support
As an Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative (CSR), the candidate will be trained on the Oberon product offering and perform the following

•    In-office telephone and personal customer service functions in a courteous and professional manner
•    Provide prompt, accurate product information and pricing
•    Provide customer support including order processing, delivery scheduling, warranty return servicing, etc.
•    Be able to provide the information to customer’s that they require, or know how to use the company’s resources to provide such information
•    Verify that the customer is completely satisfied with the company’s product and delivery

Digital Marketing Specialist
With development of product, customer and market knowledge, the candidate may transition to the role of Digital Marketing specialist with responsibilities as follow:

•    Order and organize materials to be used in trade shows and customer training events
•    Arrange for shipment and delivery of trade show materials
•    Attend trade shows and events as required
•    Maintaining a schedule of print and on-line media deadlines, and coordinating submittal of such material with the company’s marketing personnel.
•    Develop and post blogs and other content in social media and on the website

Technical Marketing Manager
With successful development of marketing specialist skills and responsibilities, the candidate may be promoted to Technical Marketing Manager, which will entail the following:

1. Development of an integrated marketing communications plan for Oberon products development of print and on-line media advertisements and evaluation of effective print media
•    Google advertising development and analysis
•    Search engine optimization
•    Emails and content to customers through constant contact
•    Website collateral which is consistent with print and e-mail advertisement, website design, look and feel.

2. Organizing and institutionalizing Oberon’s method of generating leads, documenting contacts,
preparing marketing materials and collateral using constant contact, Zoho, Peachtree or appropriate database.

3. Generating Oberon brand recognition through the integrated marketing communications plan.

4. Development of digital media (product videos, etc.) and social media

5. Assessment of the value of trade shows, identification, preparation and participation in approved trade shows.

6. Development of collateral (product photos, renderings, information, etc.) which can be used by distributors and our integrator customers to re-sell Oberon products.

7. Conduct teleconferences, web meetings, etc. with Distributors and integrators, educate them on the value of Oberon’s product offerings.
 
This position is located in State College PA. This is a full-time position and includes individual health insurance, a company-matched 401k, and paid vacation and sick leave.
