1043-ARAP515

11 in. Recessed Wall and Hard-Lid Ceiling New Construction Installation Kit for Wi-Fi Access Points / Aruba AP515 Trim / Spring Attached
Collection: Envelop™ | Series: 1043

The Model 1043 Envelop™ series offers the simplest way to mount APs and antennas from most leading vendors into new construction (drywall/sheetrock) ceilings and walls up to 1.5 in. thick, for an aesthetic, professional installation. The back-box is fastened to the ceiling joists, and the new ceiling is cut around the box. When construction is complete, the AP or antenna fastens to the appropriate trim, and the trim attaches to the back-box with torsion springs. The AP is recessed into the ceiling much like a recessed light fixture with only the front face exposed for optimal wireless coverage. The AP/antenna trim is easily swapped when AP/antenna brand or model changes. With he 1043-FL and -FLRD, the AP is installed inside the metal back box on the universal mounting plate. A low profile ABS plastic cover fastens to the back box with torsion springs, concealing the AP and creating an aesthetic, paintable recessed installation. See configuration guide in specs for other AP-specific trims.

Features & Benefits

  • Install and conceal APs and antennas from most vendors into new construction hard ceiling environments
  • AP and antennas mount flush to the ceiling, providing an aesthetic, professionally installed appearance
